PROJECT: SR-60 Median Widening Project

CLIENT: San Bernardino Associated Governments

SCOPE: Project to widen SR 60 to accommodate a new HOV lane in each direction between Day Street to Redlands Boulevard in the City of Moreno Valley.  The widening required widening the existing Pigeon Pass Road undercrossing and Heacock Street undercrossing in addition to replacement of the existing Perris Boulevard overcrossing.  Design responsibilities included geometric alignments, including preparation of layout, grading, and construction detail sheets. Special accommodations in the design were included at the Nason Street and Moreno Beach Drive overcrossing structures.  Prepared the Fact Sheet Exceptions to both Mandatory and Advisory design standards and obtained approval from the Caltrans Chief, Division of Design and District Director.
