PROJECT: West County Connectors Project (PS&E)
CLIENT: Orange County Transportation Authority
SCOPE: This project consisted of 2 segments that provided High-Occupancy (HOV) Lane Connectivity from SR-22 along Orange and Garden Grove to the I-405 and I-605 freeways in northern Orange County into Los Angeles County. Responsible for the East segment that delivered the final Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for the 405/22 HOV direct median-to-median connector that included one new HOV Connector structure, 2 bridge replacements (I-405/SR-22 Branch Connector and Valley View Overcrossing), improvements at the SR-22 Valley View and I-405/SR-22 interchanges, environmental support, and mainline widening at a total project length of 3 miles. Responsibility involved all engineering technical documents including the Supplemental Project Report, Supplemental Fact Sheet Design Exceptions to Mandatory and Advisory standards, and Modified Access Report.
