PROJECT: I-405 Southbay (Artesia Blvd to El Segundo Blvd)

CLIENT: Los Angeles County Transportation Authority (METRO)

SCOPE: This project is a 7.5 mile freeway corridor improvement project located in the cities of Lawndale and Hawthorne in Los Angeles County, California.  The project proposes to alleviate current freeway congestion due to local bottlenecks within the project study limits.  OPTITRANS is tasked to perform geometric developments of proposed alternatives that would meet the purpose and need of the project for the Project Study Report-Project Development Support (PSR-PDS) document.
