PROJECT: I-5 (Avenida Pico to County Line)

CLIENT: Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA)

SCOPE: This project is a 3.5 mile freeway corridor improvement project located in San Clemente in southern Orange County, California.  The project proposes to connect managed lanes between Avenida Pico and the San Diego County Line including local service road interchange improvements within the project study limits.  OPTITRANS is tasked to perform geometric developments of proposed alternatives that would meet the purpose and need of the project for the Project Study Report-Project Development Support (PSR-PDS) document.  OPTITRANS is also tasked to analyze the various alternatives based on anticipated project impacts to freeway adjacent properties, sensitivity to known environmental constraints, feasibility, and cost.
