PROJECT: I-10 Corridor  Studies Project (PA/ED)

CLIENT: San Bernardino Associated Governments

SCOPE: The proposed I-10 Corridor  Studies Project consists of adding lane(s) and providing improvements along all or a portion of the existing 35-mile stretch of I-10 from approximately 2 miles west of the Los Angeles/San Bernardino county line in the City of Pomona to Ford Street in the City of Redlands. The project viable alternative include a no build and two build alternatives ranging in cost from $500 million to over $1 billion amongst the two build alternates.  Alternative 1 would result in a continuous HOV lane in each direction from LA County to the City of Redlands.  Alternative 2 introduces 2 Express Lanes in each direction within the project limits.  Both alternatives proposes to address operational issues along the corridor including structure widenings and interchange ramp modifications.   Responsible for the geometric definition of the horizontal and vertical alignments including 3D modeling during various design level stages.
