PROJECT: Mid-City Exposition Light-Rail Transit Project (Expo Phase I)

CLIENT: Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority 

SCOPE: This project constructed 9.2 miles of double-track rail from the Metro Blue line 7th Street and Metro Station in Downtown LA to Culver City at Venice/Robertson.  Responsible for all Caltrans coordination to 10 project impacts to Caltrans facilities and right-of-way including replacement of the southern portion of the Flower Street overcrossing and retrofit of the Adams Boulevard overcrossing at I-110, modifications to the existing HOV on-ramp at 28th Street, and minimizing traffic flow impacts at the HOV off-ramp at Adams Boulevard, and a new tie-back wall at the Jefferson Station.   Also responsible  for street modification plans and details for the project impacts to Flower Street and Exposition Boulevard and obtained approval through the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering.
